One of the most important thing that define who we are and how we view events and happenings around us is our perspectives on life.Perspective is crucial and critical about life but only few individuals pay little attention to it.Our perspectives will define our reaction to things or how we respond to things around us.

Perspective means the way we see or perceive things around us.It has a Latin root meaning look through or perceive.It is the medium through which we view things in life.Our perspectives about life generally is shaped by our past experience.Our past experience shapes the way we think and view life.

We have different perspectives and opinions.We do not see things the same way and as a result of this,we have divergent opinions and ideas about life and events generally.It is important to note that our perspectives is determined by the way we were brought up,our belief system,cultures,values and the society at large including the family.They form the bases of how we see ourselves,the people around us and the events that unfold in our lives.

Our perspectives have direct impact in our lives either positively or negatively.They determine how we handle and process things such as information, communication and engagement with others.However,it is subjected to changes.This is because we can choose at any point in time how see or perceive things.

3. Unethical behavior: Wrong perspective can lead to unethical behavior such as manipulation, deception and exploitation.These unethical behavior can harm others in the community and also erode trust.

4. It can encourages conflict and division: It can contribute to conflict and division in relationship, communities and societies.It can create rift which can hinder effective communication, cooperation and collaboration.

5. Ineffective problem solving: It can impede effective problem solving as individuals may not consider relevant factors or fail to consider appropriate solutions.This can hinder development in different areas.

6. Lack of flexibility and resistance to change: It can make individuals resistant to new ideas, change or concept.This can hinder effective growth,innovation, personal development and adaptation to evolving situations.

7. Biases and prejudices: It can reinforces biases and prejudices; thereby affecting decision making process and actions towards others based on unfair and irrational judgements.

8. It encourages discrimination and stereotyping; It can perpetuate discrimination and stereotyping behaviors that can result to stigmatization, social injustice and marginalization.

9. Poor decision making: Wrong perspectives can cloud judgement thereby leading to poor decision making.This is because individuals can base their choice on incomplete or inaccurate information.As a result,it can have negative consequences on professional, personal and social contexts.

10. Lack of empathy and understanding: Wrong perspectives can hinder understanding and empathy towards others thereby preventing individuals from appreciating different perspectives and experience.It can prevent cooperation, personal growth and harmonious relationship.
