Rise And Fall Of Empires: Reasons Individuals Rise & Fall.

Right from time memorial, empires have existed from one particular period or the other.Infact, alot of them existed back then.From the Babylonian,Roman, Ottoman, Persian,Oyo,Kanuri,Benin empire etc that occupied large swathes of land,these empires have something in common and that is conquest, spoils of war,blood and subjugation of area defeated.

As a matter of fact,these empires got to the climax of their reign and also fell also.They all fell at different period of time.Despite the fact that they ruled with beastiality and brutality,this could not stop their fall.This shows that nothing last forever.It is worthy of note however,that they came,saw and conquered but everything must come to an end.Nothing last forever but the world abides forever.What do you think?

The rise and fall of empires can be compared to our contemporary and individual life.In this contemporary times, nothing seemed to be permanent and individuals struggle for survival each day.In the period of uncertainty,there are those who rose to prominence and wealth but lost all within a short period of time.

It could be said that there are underlying factors responsible for this.

Also,there are individuals who could be said to be on the part of providence or perhaps life smiled at them that they became so renowned, popular and rich.Till date the world still remember them most especially their wealth.The record set by them based on how wealthy they are have not been beaten by any man born of a woman.They have become part of our literature or study.

Though most of these affluent individuals have built empires, yet all they have built can vanish within a twinkling of an eye.This goes to show that as humans, we can rise and fall at anytime.There are underlying factors that can be responsible for this.Some of this factors are:

-Greed.

-Sexual lust.

-Quest for power.

-Politics.

-War.

The literature is filled with the history of great men who have amassed wealth and glory at the peak of their lives but unfortunately,these empires crumbled while they were alive or after their deaths.Most of them are so wealthy that the level of their wealth cannot be quantified.They fell after some period of time and became the shadow of their old self.The question is should we also make their mistakes when we become wealthy.We cannot afford their shortcomings.Remember, nothing is permanent in life.Wealth can be exhausted if not properly managed.

We can authoritatively say that those that amassed wealth before are no where to be found.They must have possess some attributes that made them to lose their wealth.For better understanding let us use the word unsuccessful people.

Unsuccessful people share some common attributes which we are going to enumerate here.

1. They give excuses for their failed decisions.They blame the sun and the moon for their predicaments.

2. They find it hard to handle criticism.

3. They are surrounded by negativity or negative people.

4. Unsuccessful people are prone to dragging other people down along with them

5. They envy other people.

6. They neglect their health.

7. They are not confident.

8. They are not dynamic.

9. They avoid risk.

10. They like cutting corners.

11. They are reactive not proactive.

You could see that these qualities make a lot of people unsuccessful.

However,there are some key qualities that an individual must possess to be successful.Wealth is good and every individual must be eager to sustain it.Nobody wants to be poor.Poverty is a disease.It eats into every part of an individual.You never wants to be in this position.

To be successful you need to adopt the following keys for success.It is imperative or obligatory.

- You must make a plan.

-  You must learn from your mistakes.

-  Learn to take risk.

-  Learn the art of synergy.

-   Be proud of what you are doing.

-    Learn from professionals.

-     Stay focused.

Before I round up I want to state that what differentiates the rich from the poor are what makes the rich to get richer.They are able to consolidate their wealth and guide it judiciously.These factors are

1. The rich possess the attribute of self discipline when it comes to prudent use of resources.

2. They possess the art of creativity.

3. They are very hardworking

4.They are persistent.

5.They have clear cut vision.

6. They are persistent.

7. They are very optimistic.

8 They are very passionate about what they do.

9. They have high level of drive.
