The Battle Within: Overcoming Your Inner Enemies
The human mind is very complex and diverse.Despite this complexity and dynamism of our minds,sometimes we can feel that we are our own enemy.Every individual has the inner enemy that holds him back.This prevent us from achieving our set goals, aspirations and dreams.The inner enemies can come in form of fear, negative self talk,self doubt and anxiety.Defeating your inner is a very difficult task.However,if you wish to live a fulfilling life,you must defeat or conquer it.
In this post,am going to put us through on how we can conqueror our inner enemy in order to live a fulfilling life.
We all have our own inner enemies or demons.Fear,doubt and negative self talk can hold us back from achieving our goals and living a successful life.It can be as a result of past experience,or even societal pressure.They manifest in different ways such as anxiety, depression,low self esteem and self sabotaging behavior.The effects or impacts it has on us are immense and could affect our lives, relationship and even career.Also,it can prevent us from pursuing our passion and reaching out full potential.
There is a good news because we have the power to conquer them.We must acknowledge and confront these demons.Are you ready to conquer them?It takes a lot of patience,time and efforts.But if we can conquer them,we can live a life we truly deserve.
Before we can conquer our inner enemies,we must identify or know what we are contending with.Sometimes they are deeply rooted.Sometimes,some of them have been with us for so many years.Here are some of the inner enemies.
1. Fear: This is the greatest enemy of man.The fear of failure,fear of rejection,fear of unknown and even fear of success are just how they can manifest in our lives.
2. Perfectionism: Alot of people strive for excellence in their lives which is very good.But perfection can be dangerous.It can lead to compulsive excessive disorder.Perfectionists set unrealistic standard for themselves.They can never be satisfied.
3. Self Doubt: It is the little voice inside our heads that tells us we are never good enough to achieve something.It can tell us we are not smart enough or even talented enough.Can you imagine that?
4. Procrastination: Alot of us are guilty of this .We postpone just anything everytime.It is the act of delaying or postponing.
5. Negative Self Talk: Alot of us talk to ourselves which is normal.It is actually the way we talk to ourselves.It is the inner mind that criticises us,make us feel inferior or put us down.
There are certain factors responsible for our inner enemies.It is crucial that we understand the root causes so that we can be in a position to understand their dynamics.
These inner enemies can take many forms and come from different sources such as past experience, trauma, societal pressure, anxiety and fear.We need to identify and acknowledge them.This is the only way we can understand them better.However,to identify them can be difficult.I want you to take sometime to reflect on your thought and identify some negative pattern that may be holding you back.Once you identify them,you can now explore and understand the root cause of these inner enemies.Through this,you can formulate a plan to overcome them.Do not forget,it takes time, patience and dedication.Do not give up.You are a warrior.Do not forget that.
Inner enemies can have devastating effects on the mental health.This is why you should take it serious.It can lead to stress, anxiety, depression and other mental issues.It can also lead to transfer of aggression in relationships.
There are strategies that you can use overcome your inner enemies.Do not forget that it can be challenging but with proactive measures you can overcome it.Winners and champions do not quit.You can overcome your inner enemies through
1. Self Reflection.Taking time to reflect on your thought and feeling.
2. Be kind to yourself.This is an act of self compassion.
3. Avoid blaming yourself.Everybody makes mistakes.Mistakes or failure are opportunities to learn and grow.
4. Share your concerns with others.Avoid keeping your problems to yourself.Find trusted friends and family members to discuss with.They can give you what I call emotional support.
5. Read inspirational and motivational books.
6. Take a walk, meditate and excercise.
7. Be positive everytime.
8. Develop a positive mindset.
9. Celebrate your accomplishments.
10. Apply the principles of Yes I Can.
11. Avoid toxic people.They will only bring you down.
12. Say positive words to yourself.
By developing these strategies,we can conquer our inner enemies and live a prosperous, happy and healthy life.You deserve a good life.Who told you that you cannot be happy?Who told you it is all over?Do not let anyone bring you down.You are created for a beautiful purpose.You are not a mistake to our generation.You are a unique being with special abilities.It is time to discover yourself.You are a blessing to our generation.You have a beautiful soul.Put a smile on your face because you look beautiful and amazing.If that relationship doesn't work other ones will work.Someone else will appreciate you for who you are.If that marriage fails,it is not the end of everything.Someone else will cherish, appreciate and love you.You are simply the best.Look at yourself in the mirror.Can you see how amazing you look? Looking beautiful in and out.The world needs you.We all need you.You are a champion and a winner.We love you.You are simply the best the world can ever offer.We believe in you.You are a hero and a victor.
